Qualified in 1987 with a BSc with commendation in Speech Pathology and Therapeutics from De Montfort University.
Having enjoyed working for the NHS for many years with children in mainstream and specialist schools I decided to set up my independent practise in 2010.
I have been commissioned by the Borough of Poole in the past to provide individual therapy to children with an EHCP and by schools wishing to supplement their NHS provision.
My aim is to provide a high quality of therapy whilst providing a practical model to parents, teachers and teaching assistants as to how they can promote speech and language targets on a daily basis.
I am a registered Ican Licensee and am able to provide whole school training on the Talk boost programme KS1. I can also provide training on general speech and language development and how to identify children form the earliest age who may need specific help.
